Emily Neal was inspired by the many old still lifes from the 1600s and wanted to recreate her own using pastel.
Emily is an 11th grader at HVCHS and has been taking art since kindergarten. She loves making art because it is a way she can escape from my reality and express my creative side. She wants her art to have a deeper meaning and either draw a strong emotion or bring awareness to a certain topic.
