In this episode of Revengers: Friends from Work the Podcast, I will be discussing: Spider man No Way Home, so if you have not yet seen the movie, please don’t listen to this episode until you have. I do not want to be the person that spoils it for you!

Overall Plot:

  • Loved the plot, having all three spidermen come together to fight all their villains in the same movie was amazing to watch.
  • Dr. Strange took up the role of father figure for Peter (but not over the top)
  • Peter’s character development in this movie was astonishing. Seeing him realize that he’s not going to be able to have everything he wants in life and be spiderman at the same time will never work, and that he is going to have to make sacrifices for the greater good, even if it means sacrificing his happiness.

What separates this Spiderman movie different:

  • The actors / characters (seeing all the characters from different movies come together)
  • The character development and growth for a lot of characters.
  • Really powerful and emotional scenes.
  • All the callbacks and attention to detail.
  • Peter’s (Tobey) back problem
  • Aunt May’s and Peter’s “It’s just me and you.”
  • The villains from the other Spiderman movies talking to “their” Peter, connecting with them once again.
  • The infamous quote before death “With great power, there must also come great responsibility.”
  • MJ wearing the black dahlia necklace that Peter gave to her in Far From Home.
  • The perfect combination of funny scenes and sad ones. When you aren’t crying, you’re laughing, and when you’re not laughing, you’re crying.
  • Sad Scenes
  • Aunt May’s death
  • Peter breaks down after she dies and is comforted by Ned and MJ.
  • The other Spidermen talk to Peter about how they know what he’s been through before, losing someone close to them, and they talk about the infamous quote.
  • Everyone forgetting Peter by the end of the movie and saying goodbye to everyone.
  • Funny scenes
  • Everyone is amazed that Peter (Tobey) doesn’t need web shooters.
  • Peter (Andrew) cracking the other Peter’s (Tobey) back.
  • Peter (Andrew) talking to Ned and MJ about being Spiderman.
  • All the Peter’s recollect themselves and come up with a plan of attack.
