Through Different Eyes
Who knew something so simple like a walk could be so amazing?
Who knew something so simple like wind could make such a difference?
I see these little things can bring so much beauty,
Like the leaves looking orange and fruity.
I see the small creatures shouting out
And the acorns spreading in small amounts.
I see the leaves flying like the birds,
And the planes also flying like the birds.
I feel the temperature getting cooler
And I smell the air getting crisper ,
There’s more rain and fog,
And then I notice my walk is now more like a jog
Because the world around me is suddenly different
And it looks and feels magnificent.
I see more spiders webs spread around
And they glisten when the sun shines,
I see and I hear my neighbours out and about,
And the new halloween decorations dancing in the wind.
I’m noticing new things around me,
Who knew something so simple like noticing things would make a big difference.
