Remnants and Loose Ends 2
Step into the light and into a synthesis
If I succeed, let the audience witness
It’s the start of a passion that’s come to fruition
If only I had more ambition
Take my apology if I am wrong
But a “normal teen” right now won’t be for long
Living so freely at the expense of their health
Becoming an adult and showing off fake wealth
What am I really; what am I to you?
Do you believe the story I construe?
All my relations in relation to me
Are something that I should be ignoring
The sound of glass shattering lives in my mind
The sound of your voice gives me new love to find
It’ll be unrequited and quite a surprise
So towards the stained glass, I’m drifting my eyes
You never had left me, your presence is noted
Your legacy stays in a story misquoted
When you fell from grace, we were prepared
But when you fell from the roof, nobody cared
I take my time by writing this down
Tearing my heart into two, for now
So god forbid this remains unrecognized
If this is a story, let it be analyzed
I’m going to leave and you cannot change this
I will remain in a state of deranged bliss
I’ll bloom into ashes that stain the shining stars
Since I’m stuck in November, I wouldn’t have gotten far
Maybe in time I can reach heaven
Before I go, I have one final lesson
Achieve it on Earth, don’t sacrifice now
I know that it’ll get better somehow.
